01About This Special Issue
Faced with the grim situation in energy and the environment, the development of economy is restricted by the shortage of resources, low utilization, deteriorating environmental. Recently, energy conservation and energy management have been taken more and more attention. This journal will be an interdisciplinary forum which involves energy conservation technology, energy conservation policies and regulations, circular economy and energy management. It is an integrated subject not only containing of technology research but also the soft science research. All of the study is to explore the technology and mechanism of energy conservation, as well as how to plan and manage energy so as to maximize the use of energy. The form of energy includes, but is not limited to primary energy, such as oil, coal, natural gas, coal bed methane, hydro, nuclear, as well as secondary energy as electricity, heat, refined oil, and other new energy and renewable energy.Aims and Scope:
(1) Building energy-saving technology
(2) Energy-saving technology in electricity production
(3) Circular Economy
(4) Electricity load forecasting and planning
(5) Energy Performance Contracting
(6) The relationship between energy and the economy
(7) Security of energy supply
(8) Energy policy and recommendations

Issue: Volume 3, Issue 6-1, December 2014Pages: 13-18Received: 19 August 2014Accepted: 22 August 2014Published: 20 October 2014Abstract: In order to estimate and evaluate the blackout consequence in distribution network, a comprehensive evaluation index system including seven indexes was built, in which the blackouts loss for both users and power companies are fully considered. A comprehensive evaluation model based on AHP and improved grey clustering decision model was provided to ... Show More -
Issue: Volume 3, Issue 6-1, December 2014Pages: 6-12Received: 19 August 2014Accepted: 22 August 2014Published: 20 October 2014Abstract: Distribution network equipment failure causes a serious impact on society. So a reasonable approach to reduce the consequences of equipment failure (ie, equipment failure affecting degrees) is necessary. This paper presents a comprehensive evaluation method which combines fault traversal, AHP-TOPSIS method to ensure the degree of different equipmen... Show More -
Saturated Electricity Power Analysis Based on Logistic Curve Model
Issue: Volume 3, Issue 6-1, December 2014Pages: 1-5Received: 16 July 2014Accepted: 22 July 2014Published: 20 August 2014Abstract: Power load forecasting is the foundation of urban power grid planning, and saturated electricity power is a key indicator for determining the ultimate power grid scale when performing the urban power grid planning. Taken Hubei province as the empirical example, the saturated electricity power is studied by employing Logistic curve model in this pap... Show More
