About This Special Issue
In studying the human past, the country of Iran has good claim to host some of the most significant developments anywhere on the planet. The archaeology of Iran thus provides a uniquely rich complex of research arenas within which to approach significant episodes of the human past. The course covers the archaeology of Iran, in all its periods from early prehistoric to late Islamic, with active field and laboratory researches around the Iran.
